Terms of business
By sending an initial email, or calling our business number, does not constitute a therapeutic agreement. Each enquiry is assessed on an individual basis to ensure suitability of the services being offered.
In order to contract with www.greenchaircounsellingservice.co.uk you must be over 18 years of age and possess a valid credit or debit card issued by a bank acceptable to us. If the client is under the age of 18, this will be at the consent of a parent or legal guardian. www.greenchaircounsellingservice.co.uk retains the right to refuse any request made by you. When engaging our services, we work on the understanding that all details you provide to us are true and accurate, that you are an authorised user of the credit or debit card and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the sessions. Any services not paid for, in a timely manner, are subject to contract termination with no notice given. All prices advertised are subject to such changes.
(a) Our Contract
When you confirm an appointment, you will receive an acknowledgement e-mail confirming your appointment day, time and business premises: this email will only be an acknowledgement and will not constitute a therapeutic contract. A separate written therapeutic contract, privacy policy, contact form, risk assessment & assessment document will be sent to you, for signing. Once signed, this then initiates the therapeutic agreement.

Whilst we try and ensure that all details, descriptions and prices which appear on this Website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have agreed to we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.
(c) Payment
Payments are primarily to be made via a credit or debit card at the end of the face to face session. If you have online appointments, or are the parent or guardian of a client under the age of 18 you will be sent an online invoice to pay for your session. Payment terms for invoices are 48 hours, and you may be sent auto-generated reminders to settle your invoice. Once your invoice is settled in full you will receive an email receipt, for your records. We reserve the right to take automatic payments from your stored card details if your invoices are significantly delayed without reasonable agreed cause. We only allow for one invoice to be outstanding, without prior consent or reasonable agreed cause. If you regularly delay paying your invoices and we are required to cancel your sessions due to outstanding payments, due to being unable to take automatic payments, we reserve the right to terminate our work together as per clause 3.5 of your Therapy Contract. We also reserve the right to ask for full payment prior to subsequent sessions taking place should we agree to carry on with your therapy. If someone else is paying for your sessions and you are over the age of 18, we ask that you pay via a credit or debit card at the end of each session and you be reimbursed by whoever is paying for your sessions separately.
